Day 1 Arrival & Hotel Check-in

Arrival at Istanbul airport, take the next flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir where we have 2 main airports of Cappadocia. Arrival at airport in Cappadocia, meet our driver at the exit gate and transfer to your cave hotel. Our driver will be at the exit gate with a board that your name is written. Welcome to Turkey.

Day 2 Private Cappadocia Green Tour

Ortahisar Panorama

Ortahisar means “middle castle,” and as its name implies, it is central among the Cappadocian towns of Goreme, Urgup, Uchisar and Nevsehir.  Ortahisar Castle offers a magnificent panorama over the fairy chimneys of Hallacdere and the snowy peak of Mount Erciyes.

Mustafapasha Old Greek Village

In Mustafapaşa you can discover the beautifully carved facades and old doors as well as the typical central Anatolian village life which carries on unchanged as it has done for centuries. Mustafapaşa had a largely Greek population in Ottoman times. Turks and Greeks lived side by side, and the sound of church bells mingled with the call to prayer from the mosque.

Keslik Monastery

About 200 monks once lived at this rock-cut Byzantine monastery complex amid its labyrinth caverns, which include living quarters, refectory and kitchen. Above is the main 13th-century chapel with an interior covered in blackened frescoes.

Taskinpasha Madrasah

Taskinpasa Madrasah is located only 20 km from Urgüp on the way to Soganli Valley. It was an Islamic School which was built by Karamanoglu Dynasty in the middle of 14’th century. This building which one distinguished samples of Karaman art havent destructed and maintained their existance. After the restoration which has held recently, the medresseh is still being used as a library.

Sobesos Ancient City

Sobesos Ancient City in Sahinefendi Village is located quite remote to the main sights in Cappadocia en route to Soganli Valley. The ancient city was discovered by some treasure-hunters working in the fields in 2002. Today, you can see the only Roman Ancient City in Cappadocia with the help of researches and excavations. Sobesos despite its small size is one part of this large collection and since the city walls have not yet been discovered.

Soganli Valley and Cave Churches

Soganli is the one of the more interesting valleys of Cappadocia. Not only does it have historical value,gorgeous landscapes and cave churches. Most of  cave churches date from the 9th to 13th centuries, although settlement by mankind actually first took place during the Roman era. Turkey’s most famous abandoned village is perhaps Kayakoy on the Mediterranean coast but Soganli also has that eerie vibe, that makes you wonder if the ghosts of earlier residents still lives on.

Derinkuyu Underground City

Derinkuyu is one of the largest underground cities in the world. Located in Turkey’s Cappadocia region, it’s one of over 200 subterranean cities that were carved into the volcanic rock. In fact, Derinkuyu is connected to some of these subterranean settlements by tunnels that run for miles.

Pigeon Valley

This stunning valley has unique rock formations known as Fairy Chimneys, which rise high from the valley floor like chimneys & are dotted in their tops with birdhouses.

Onyx Workshop

Onyx is a natural volcanic stone of the agate family; much of it is mined in Cappadocia. It has a long history of use for hardstone carving and jewellery. Onyx comes in varying colours and quality (green is the best quality, followed by beige). A translucent stone marbled with concentric veins, it is crafted by local artisans into all sorts of decorative objects and jewellery. You can find turtles and dolphins,vases and bowls, chess sets, earrings, many different ideas for a present to bring back from Cappadocia, and at very reasonable prices.

Göreme Panorama

Close to Goreme in Cappadocia, there is a zone called Panoramic View. In the event that you are around there, then certainly try to go. It gives you sees over the entire of Goreme and if travel photography is your thing, you can ensure that you will wind up with some honor winning pictures.

Day 3 Private Cappadocia Red Tour

 Goreme Open Air Museum

We will begin at the Goreme Open Air Museum, an impressive collection of monasteries, churches and chapels that date back to the Middle Ages. It served as an important Christian centre of learning and its religious buildings still exhibit elaborate and beautifully preserved frescoes.

Cavusin Village

Cavusin is a small village on the road linking Goreme with the town of Avanos. Until the 1920s it had a mixed population with many Christian Orthodox families.

Uchisar Castle

Uçhisar is the best place to have a full view of all Cappadocia valleys the village. The panorama of the surrounding area is lovely. You will see the Uchisar Castle and the surrounding ancient houses; the scenery is beautiful; the ancient houses are hollowed out into the rocks and form amazing shapes.

Pasabag – Monks Valley

We will then have time to explore the Monks Valley, famed for its three-headed fairy chimneys. This region of is also known as Pasabag, or ‘Pasha’s Vineyard’, as its stunning earth pillars are located within a vineyard.

Devrent Valley

After a short drive we will stop in the Devrent Valley, famed for its lunar-like landscape of small, pointed fairy chimneys. We will take the time to explore the valley and witness some of its most unusual rock formations.

  Ürgüp Three Beauties

A weird group of the so-called fairy chimneys – stone formations of tuff – near Ürgüp in Cappadocia. These are said to resemble a family: man, woman and a child between them

Love Valley

Love is a universal word, after all, and there is nothing that could be considered remarkable in its resemblance to the female equivalent of these enormous formations in the area.  Love Valley harbours and encompasses incredible sights from the canyons below the vineyards and orchards leading to gigantic fairy chimneys

Avanos Pottery Workshop

Our final destination is the small town of Avanos, home to a terracotta industry that dates back to 3000BC. The clay is sourced from the Red River which passes through the town and we will have the opportunity to visit a traditional pottery workshop and see how it is crafted first-hand.
